🏁Getting Started with Ecommerce

Short answer nope, not really, you sell through social media or marketplaces like Etsy.

But if you’re serious about building a brand and long-term business, then yes. A dedicated website gives you control over your brand, customer experience, and profits. It builds trust, adds legitimacy, and makes you look professional from day one.

For most product-based shops, I recommend Shopify. It’s user-friendly, powerful, and built specifically for selling online.

I also work with Squarespace and WooCommerce if your business has unique needs or a content-first focus.

Yes, absolutely. Shopify is beginner-friendly and built specifically for selling online, even if you’re not tech-savvy. You don’t need large inventory or years of experience to get started.

In fact, many of my clients launch with just 10 products. Shopify makes it easy to scale when you’re ready, and I can help you set it up with only the features you need right now.

You don’t need full branding to get started, but you do need the basics. That includes a logo or wordmark, font choices, color palette, and a clear understanding of who your customer is.

If you’re still figuring out your product or target audience, I actually recommend waiting on full brand development. Start with a simple, flexible visual foundation. Your website should still feel cohesive and professional, even if your brand evolves later which it will.

When we work together, I’ll help you create something that looks great now and gives you room to grow as your business becomes clearer.

🎨Working with a Website Designer

I help you bring your business vision to life online.

That means designing the layout, customizing the structure, setting up the platform, and making sure it looks and feels like your brand. I also teach you how to manage your site after launch so you’re not left guessing.

My packages start at $1,400. Final pricing depends on how much content you have, how custom the design is, and whether you want branding or copywriting included.

I offer payment plans to make it more manageable.

That’s totally okay. You can start with my free tutorials on YouTube and blog posts to DIY with confidence.

If you want more personal support, book a Strategy Call or a Website Audit to get feedback and a plan.

⏳ Design Process, Timeline, and Ongoing Support

Most projects take 2–4 weeks depending on your content and platform.

I only work with one client at a time, so you’ll always have my full attention. We’ll set a realistic timeline, and stick to it.

100% yes.
Every client gets a walkthrough and training so you know how to update your shop.

And if you want help later, you can book a Sprint or reserve me for hourly support (client-only).

Most platforms like Shopify, Squarespace, and WooCommerce start with a template. But using a template doesn’t mean your site has to look generic.

We choose a theme/template based on the functionality you need, then customize the layout, design, and features so your website reflects your brand and supports your business goals. That might include adding apps/plug-ins, custom code, and design tweaks.

Templates are a helpful foundation, but what I do is take that starting point and turn it into something that feels uniquely yours.
